During the heat of the day, you can stay very cool down by the river.
I love the swelling sound of the cicadas, in waves. Like someone is
turning the volume up and down, up and down.
The Guabo River is a tributary of the Rio Savegre,
a much larger river that features fantastic white water rafting very near by.
You can arrange cool rafting excursions with the good folks at Rafiki Lodge
which is on an incredible acreage not far from Finca Silencio.
